The collection "St. Petersburg etching" presents the wonderful music of the St. Petersburg guitarist and composer Yuri Smirnov. The name of this musician is widely known in our city and beyond. He is the author of works for solo guitar, ensembles, guitar, ballads and songs accompanied by guitar, music for theatre, guitar processing. Music it is distinguished by the brightness of the images, the extraordinary freshness and brightness of musical themes, relying more on classical than on a modern innovation and that is especially valuable for us, mastery of the guitar and an understanding of its rich colors as a concert instrument. This publication is the first in the author's collection of the composer and includes the play that is called, "proven": they are often heard in concerts and, in our opinion, can be useful and interesting for both beginner guitarists and professional musicians.
