Alexander Mosolov (1900-1973) was a composer-innovator, a talent which most full-blooded blossomed in the 1920-ies, when the best minds in the Russian world of art thinking about original ways of expression of being. It was during this period Mosolov worked together with like-minded people in the ASM (Association of contemporary music), which lasted until the early 30-ies. Dance Suite written by Mosolova in 1946 and dedicated to the great harpist Vera Dulova, who performed for the first time in Russia a Concert for harp (1939) Mosolov. Itself Vera Dulova - the representative of the classical school of playing the harp, based on the techniques inherent to vintage music at small techniques. Elegant, graceful Minuet, gallant and at the same time grotesque Gavotte, sliding, transparent Waltz, sparkling Polka, the rapid Gallop - such are, at first glance, the dominant mood of this seemingly works.
